Would You? Could You? In a Car?

As a child and now as an adult, I love to read the rhyming text of Dr. Seuss's stories. The simple words and simple drawings leave much to the reader's (& listener's) imagination.

This is the inspiration for a business idea that I've had kicking around inside my head for a few years now. "Wood You Could You," a simple woodshop space where you can... be creative, be constructive, be inspired, be productive. Be empowered, be relaxed, be with friends...

...be tongue-tied:
Q: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

A: A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood!

Would You? Could You? In a Car? This artwork from "Green Eggs and Ham" is a must-have, factored in to my start-up costs!

Go Red Sox!

It's hard to believe that my three little Red Sox fans are decendents of a former New York Yankees fan! Ahhh, the memories of my youth... The 1970's Yankees. I remember "Yankee Bat Day," when thousands of New Yorkers were handed a free regulation-sized wooden bat. (Whose great idea was that??) Mine had LOU PINIELLA's name on it. I still have my bat along with my NY baseball cap from "Yankee Hat Day." I take them out periodically, wondering if my sons will cherish their 2000's Red Sox in the same way. Hey Jordan's Furniture... How about sponsoring a "Red Sox Bat Day" (and giving us 5 tickets to the game)???
