Where Did July Go???

Whoa, is it August already?? I haven't even been to the beach yet! The summer 2009 bucket list keeps growing. But as the old camp song goes... "Dear Henry" & "Dear Liza" know there's a hole in the bucket. And through that hole passes time, precious time, flowing more quickly than water! My free time at home has been spent practicing guitar chords (see previous post), riding my bicycle, eating way too much homemade ice cream, and (of course) knitting.

My time at camp has been spent [mostly] teaching [mostly] campers to [mostly] knit. I throw in all the "mostlys" because my job as the Knitting Specialist is so much more. I think that's why I love it so much. I can hardly call it "work" because it is something that I love so much to do.

For example, I love to photograph campers and their completed knitted projects and post them here. They work very hard and are so proud of their finished projects. They earn a ribbon and the chance to see themselves on the web. Here is the next upload of campers and the best reason to choose Knitting for Chugim.

My son, Jacob, is determined to spool-knit the "Longest Snake in Camp" this summer!
